From October 18th to 20th, sponsored by the School Planning and Construction Development Center of the Ministry of Education, the Electronic Information Professional Teaching Committee of Higher Education Ministry of Education, and undertaken by the Chinese Institute of Electronics, Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunications, and Beijing Huasheng Jingshi Information Technology Co., Ltd., the Huasheng Jingshi Cup 2019 National College Electronic Information Professional Young Teachers' Teaching Competition Finals (i.e. Teachers' Teaching Ability Improvement Seminar), co-organized by Education Press, was held at Xi’an University of Posts and Telecommunications. More than 300 teachers from more than 100 universities across the country participated. The Electromagnetic Field and Electromagnetic Wave course participated by Zhou Xuefang, a teacher of the School of Communication Engineering of our school, won the first prize in the East China Division in the preliminary contest and the third prize in the final.
The competition was first conducted by area, and 58 young teachers of the first and second prizes of each area participated in the final finals. The jury was composed of national teaching teachers, provincial outstanding teachers and members of the teaching guidance committee. From the points of teaching content, teaching organization, teaching methods, the combination of micro-classes and teaching content, teaching art, characteristics and effects, teaching plans and outlines, etc, the participants were blindly evaluated within 20 minutes. After fierce competition, 1 special prize, 11 first prizes, 14 second prizes and 32 third prizes were selected.
For a long time, the School of Communication has attached great importance to the training of basic teaching skills for young teachers, taking various measures to improve the teaching ability of young teachers, encouraging young teachers to actively participate in the competitions of teaching skills in the country, East China and Zhejiang Province.
